The Holidaze Ringing Has Rung

The Ringing Of The Bards is posted at BloggingPoet.com. I hope you enjoy being combined with the Tarheel Tavern again. Submissions were few for both but together they made up a full carnival.

We desperately need hosts ASAP. I would love to host it every week but that would be bad for the carnival, Please sign-up for the newsletter if you haven't already.

In other news: Let's use our poetry to do good. Please check out APoetsRag.com and consider submitting a poem to be published in an anthology of 365 poems with the goal of contributing 100% of the profits to a worthy nonprofit chosen by those who contribute to the cause. Feedback is welcome as well.

And finally, if you've got a book in print I want to use the Shoppes Blog to help others learn about your book. No I don't have the clout to make you a best selling author but it is free and only requires your time.

Don't forget BloggingPoet411.com. It's a great place to put all those things you could never put in a single search engine or directory listing. While I suggested no more than 100 words I really don't care if you write a thousand.

The Bards Ring In Christmas I Hope

he Ringing Of The Bards has been silent for almost a month and I don't want to see it breath it's last gasp on the eve of Christmas Eve. That's why I'm asking poetry bloggers everywhere to send me your submissions by 2 PM EST tomorrow so I can have it posted by tomorrow night. Send them to idleblogs (AT) yahoo.com

The theme is anything to do with any December event.

Also, hosts are desperately needed for future ringings. You can check the schedule to see who's hosting but the easiest was is to sign-up for the newsletter.

Or you could just let it die...
